How to Cook Chicken Adobo
This recipe is very quick, simple, and easy to cook the main thing in it is to marinate the chicken to get wonderful flavors which is the only way to get the full authentic experience of this Filipino recipe you can also try this Japanese chicken Teriyaki recipe.
In case you are in a hurry then at least marinate the chicken for 30 minutes then follow my step-by-step guide to cook this recipe:
Marinate the Chicken
You can start this process by marinating the chicken in garlic paste and soy sauce. To make the paste of the garlic you need to crush it for best results which will be noticeable at the time of tasting after cooking. I recommend that at least 1 hour is an optimal time for the chicken to be marinated because the chicken can absorb the flavor of soy sauce and garlic.
Fry the Chicken
Now, separate the chicken from the marination for the next step. Here you have to ensure that keep the marinade aside because this marinade will be used at a later stage. Now fry the chicken pieces in the pan for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Stew It
To boil the marinade, pour it into another post and also add water and put it on the stove to boil. You can add whole peppercorn and bay leaves and cook it for a longer time on a low flame for a tasty tender chicken adobo. The addition of vinegar as a part of the marinade is also useful and then a pinch of salt will enhance the flavor. You can boil it till the evaporation of the liquid in it or you can stop cooking if you don’t want to dry the liquid in it.
Serve and Enjoy
This yummy recipe is better to serve with sauce, if you don’t like the sauce you can skip it.

Marinade

Slow Cook
If you want the experience of melting the chicken in your mouth then you have to cook it slower. Just put your marinated chicken in the slow cooker and let it cook overnight this will enhance its flavors that you and your are going to love.
