IngredientAmount
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (2 ½ pounds)
Cream of Chicken Soup2 cans of chicken soup cream
Sour Cream½ cup sour cream (122 grams)
Diced White Onion¼ cup diced white onion
Dried Parsley Flakes1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
Chicken Stuffing Mix1 box chicken stuffing mix (6 ounces)
Salted Butter¼ cup salted butter
Fresh ParsleyFresh parsley for garnishing

Directions to Make Chicken And Stuffing In Crock Pot

  • Put your chicken breasts in a 7-quart slow cooker liner.
  • Pour the thick cream of chicken in your soup over the chicken breasts.
  • Add the sour sauces and use a spatula rubber to softly twist the soup and sour sauces mix together.
  • Sprinkle the cubes of onion and dry out clover over the top.
  • In another small or medium bowl, toss together the dry stuffing mix and melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top.
  • Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high heat for 2-3 hours.
  • If coveted, uncover for at least 35 minutes of cooking so that the stuffing firms up in a little bowl. It will not be a “crispy” stuffing topping but can help your texture. This is not necessary though for good days taste just as good.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve with my favorite mashed potatoes.
  • You can store leftovers in a plastic bag in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Chicken And Stuffing In The Crockpot Variations

This recipe is customizable so you can  add or change any ingredients according to your choice:

  • Add the green beans or corn on top of your soup. If you’re adding green beans, I recommend using frozen or fresh green beans over pickled so they do not get overdone.
  • To make chicken and stuffing in a crock pot you can use cornbread stuffing for a start twist.
  • If you want more gravy with thinner rather sour sauces, add about a cup of low-sodium chicken broth. Pour chicken and stuffing In the crock-pot over the chicken breasts before continuing with my recipe.
  • Add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over your cream soup before the stuffing gets sprinkled on top.
  • Are you looking to add fresh herbs try some slides:
    • fresh rosemary
    • garlic powder
