Sweet Relish | 1/4 cup |
Garlic Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | 3 teaspoons for boiling chicken and macaroni, and as a seasoning |
Ground Black Pepper | 1/4 teaspoon |
Water | for boiling |
Directions For Macaroni Chicken Salad
- Prepare your chicken. Start to boil the chicken by pouring at least one or two quarts of water into a cooking bowl over a stovetop. Then add one or two teaspoons of salt and put the chicken breasts into your bowl. Cover and boil in medium heat for at least 22 to 25 minutes and then remove the chicken from the bowl. Manually shred into pieces and set aside.
- Prepare your macaroni by following package instructions. Boil 3 quarts of water in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Pour the macaroni into your bowl. Cover the bowl and continue to boil the macaroni on medium heat for at least eight to nine minutes or until al dente. Make sure to stir every at least 3 to 4 minutes to prevent the macaroni from sticking.
- Arrange your Macaroni in a large bowl. Add shredded chicken.
