Directions For Chicken Tinga Recipe
To make this quick and easy recipe just follow my step-by-step guide:
Sauce
Take a large skillet and put it on the stove while setting the heat of the stove to medium then add oil and onion to the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes so that onions become tender just stir often after cooking the onion add garlic and saute for 30 seconds to get its fragrance. Now add oregano, cumin, and chipotles and cook them for 1 minute more then in the last add stock, salt, and tomatoes and bring all the mixture to simmer for about 7 minutes.
Blend
Get a blender that can be a regular blender or a high-powered blender whichever you have in your kitchen and put all the tomato mixture or the sauce in it and prepare a smooth paste of the mixture.
Chicken
When the sauce is smooth return back it to the skillet but now make sure to set the heat at a low point add chicken and cook for about 5 minutes taste the salt and if there is a need for adjustment you can adjust accordingly.
Serving
