Directions
Simply follow my simple and easy instructions to get a wonderful diced chicken recipe that you bake in the oven just follow my step-by-step guide:
Step 1
Firstly get ready your oven and warm it up to 420 degrees and while your oven is heating up cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
Step 2
Then get a small bowl and put all the following ingredients in it to combine all the seasonings:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Cayenne Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Chicken Stock
- Italian Seasoning
Step 3
Now take a baking dish and arrange chicken in it then sprinkle all the chicken cubes with the seasoning mix also add olive oil and coat each chicken piece well in the mixture.
Step 4
Then put the dish in the oven and bake for about 15 to 18 minutes or till you feel the chicken is ready you can also use a thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken pieces when it shows 165 degrees it means your chicken is ready to go also make sure to stir the chicken cubes during the baking to cook them evenly and also ensure your cubes have crisp edges and are golden brown.
Step 5
When the chicken is ready remove the dish from the oven sprinkle some freshly parsley and set it aside for 5 minutes to take a rest before serving.
Tips
- For even cooking of each piece of the chicken you can cut the chicken breast pieces into equal sizes.
- Before you cut the chicken freeze it for about 50 minutes that will make the cutting process much easier and less dirty and you can easily make cubes of the same sizes of the frozen chicken.
- If you love cooking then you can play with the seasonings according to your mood and liking also make it according to your taste for this purpose you can try taco seasoning, Indian spices, or any other you like.
- If you like more crispier chicken bites then you can add cornstarch to the spice mix and then coat the chicken pieces very well.
