Salt | 1/2 tsp |
Black Pepper | 1/2 tsp |
Cornstarch | 1/4 cup |
Baking Powder | 1/2 tsp |
Egg | 1 |
Sesame Seeds | 1-2 tsp |
Vegetable Oil | for frying |
Green Onions | chopped, for garnish |
Unsalted Butter | 4 tbsp / 60 g |
Garlic Cloves | 6 |
Brown Sugar | 3 tbsp |
Light Soy Sauce | 2 tbsp |
Honey | 2 tsp |
Directions
I am going to guide you step-by-step so that you can easily cook this amazing honey butter fried chicken recipe.
Step 1
Take a big mixing bowl and add
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Cornstarch
- Baking Powder
- Egg
Mix all these ingredients well to combine and also add the chicken coat it with this mixture and set aside.
Step 2
Get a wok and add vegetable oil so that the chicken is well dipped in the oil while setting the medium heat of the stove be sure to add chicken pieces one by one not all together and fry the chicken in bunches.
Step 3
Fry this chicken two times, first fry for about 2-3 minutes remove the chicken drain completely, and repeat the process.
Step 4
Then fry for a second time put all the chicken again in the wok and fry until the chicken is golden brown then remove from the wok and set aside all the chicken pieces.
Step 5
Now get another clean wok and set it on medium heat on the stove and put unsalted butter to melt it, when it is melted add garlic and cook for about 15 seconds to get the fragrance, after that add honey, brown sugar, and light soy sauce and stir for another 20 seconds and turn the flame to the low heat.
Step 6
Now add all the chicken pieces in the honey mixture sauce and coat each piece evenly also you can add toasted sesame for a more amazing taste.
Step 7
Put all these honey butter fried chicken pieces in a serving plate and you can sprinkle more sesame seeds for garnishing along with green onions. That’s it. Serve and enjoy.
