Step 1
Get a small bowl, you can choose a medium one if you are making this yummy dish for a lot of other family members.
Step 2
Mix the following ingredients in the bowl:
- Oil
- Lemon Zest
- Parsley
- Honey
- Lemon Juice
- Spices
When this marinade mixture is ready, set aside and proceed to the next step.
Step 3
It’s time to clean the chicken thighs. When the chicken is clean tap it to dry so that it can get all the flavors from the ingredients very well and then mix these thighs with the marinade make sure to coat each thigh with the mixture.
Step 4
Put this marinated chicken in the refrigerator overnight which is also recommended to marinate overnight but if you are short of time then marinate for at least 30 minutes to set the chicken thighs with the marinade.
Step 5
On the other side, make thin round slices of lemon and put them on top of the marinated chicken thighs when is it ready for the cooking process.

Now prepare your oven and set it on medium heat before placing the chicken in it then bake the chicken in the oven for about 40 minutes at a temperature set to 375 degrees F or till the time of the chicken is cooked very well.

It depends on your choice that which cut out of the chicken you want to use this recipe is easy to make with both the chicken breasts and the chicken thighs but if you use chicken breasts they are still a good choice and the chicken will also be tender. If you want to go with the chicken breasts for nutritional benefits then the cooking time of the recipe will be the same. Just keep in mind that chicken breasts are not crispy from the outer side as compared with the thighs.
