Easy Thai Basil Chicken Recipe

Thai Basil Chicken

Ingredients

1. Sauce 

Oyster sauce, chicken broth, soya sauce, fish sauce, white sugar, brown sugar 

2. Chicken

 Boneless chicken thighs, (chopped well)

3. Shallots and garlic

Garlic (minced that adds excellent flavor to the dish)

4. Hot chile peppers

Serrano chile or hot sauce

5. Basil

Sweet basil is readily available in grocery stores.

6. Cooking Oil

1 or ½ tbsp

7. Green onion

Instructions

Step 1

First, put all the sauces in a pan and mix them well until all the sauces are combined.

Step 2

Then take a large pan, add oil, and heat it on medium to high heat.

Step 3

Now add chili hot sauce and garlic to this hot oil and fry it well for 10 seconds, stirring constantly with a spoon so that it does not burn and does not stick to the drink.

Step 4

Now put the white part of the green onion in this pan and cook it with these spices and sauce for two minutes, then add the chicken mix and cook it for five to seven minutes, stirring the spoon continuously.

Step 5

Now add the sauce and cook the chicken, stirring constantly, until the water dries up and it turns into a thick mixture. then remove the pan from heat and add basil to it.

Step 6

Now that the chicken is cooked, put it on a plate along with green onion and basil leaves and serve it with jasmine rice.
